Bal Govind Academy
The story of Guru ji – Balgovind began in 1998 at Pratapgarh Stadium with a single thought in Guruji Balgovind’s mind—that real strength is not just physical, but mental and emotional as well. What started as Taekwondo training sessions soon became a space where discipline, confidence, and self-belief were shaped every day.
As time passed, the impact of his teaching became visible in the lives of students. Schools, colleges, NCC units, and government institutions began inviting him to train young minds in self-defence and physical fitness. For more than a decade, Guruji Balgovind dedicated himself to GGIC, St. Xavier’s School and many more, where generations of students learned not only martial arts, but also focus, respect, and resilience.
Guruji Balgovind slowly grew beyond martial arts. Yoga and meditation were introduced to bring balance to the body and mind, while personalised training and championship-level coaching helped students unlock their true potential. The academy became a place where children learned discipline before competition and confidence before victory.
At its heart, Guruji Balgovind has always believed in building a culture where health and wellness are a way of life, not an option. The vision has never been limited to medals alone, but to creating a strong platform for the younger generation to represent the nation with pride. Every training session carries a larger dream—to see Indian athletes stand stronger, healthier, and more prepared on national and international stages.
Today, that journey continues with an even bigger vision. The dream is to build institutions that combine sports, education, and values, and one day establish a dedicated sports university where future champions are trained not just to win, but to lead.

Taekwondo Training
Our Taekwondo training is deeply rooted in yoga-based practices, focusing not only on physical strength but also on overall wellness and mental development. Yoga & Meditation
